In order to view the PDF documents at our site (our On-line Catalogue, for example) you must install Adobe's Acrobat Reader 3.01. It is available at no charge from Adobe, and is easy to install and use. It will work as a plug-in with most popular browsers (like Netscape's Communicator 4.0). For Acrobat Reader to be installed as a "plug-in", you must have your internet browser installed prior to installing the Reader.

This latest version of Acrobat Reader allows you to easily find, save, and print the information contained in these documents.

Tuneup Netscape Now These pages have been optimized for Netscape 2.0/3.0. If you don't have the Netscape browser, and want to, you can get it from the Netscape site: (http://home.netscape.com/download/index.html).

Once you have completely loaded a PDF into the Acrobat Reader, you can save it to your computer by using your browsers "save as" command from the "File" menu.

We have provided a list of common problems and some work arounds for those who may be experiencing difficulties viewing the PDF files on our site. You will find this list here.

We also recommend that you set your browser to use our screen settings. Go into your browsers preferences and turn off (uncheck) all colour settings and "always use my colours"

As a note on style, if you have it, Poppl-Laudatio is a particularly nice font to set your browsers default to. It's what we use when designing these pages so if you want to see how our pages look to us....

A tip for those of you who collect information by printing the screen directly from your browser: turn off any coloured or patterned backgrounds, or set your preferences so that the background colour is white. This will both speed up the printing process and make the output more legible.
